DJI Pocket 2 Preview Review

The DJI Pocket 2 Camera could be the next best thing in Vlogging.

The DJI Pocket 2 is a small hand held camera that is great for traveling and vlogging on the go. The small size removes the hassle of carrying big digital SLRs and cumbersome microphones.

We bought the Creators Combo package which came with a few must have extras. Mainly being the wireless microphone, do it all handle to use the wireless microphone and a wide angle lens. You can connect your cell phone to the camera for a more refined interface and there are tons of accessories for this camera to improve its use, such has battery handles, extenders and more.

The biggest selling point for me is the scale of the camera. For something that can do 4K 60 FPS video, HD 60FPS video, Time-lapse and Slow Motion its and all in one camera. I use to travel with my DLS EOS Rebel T4i with all the attachments but this makes you stand out like a crazy and in this day and age might get people asking if you have a permit to shoot. With this small camera I am able to get high quality video without having heavy equipment to carry around.

There is also third party accessories that make specialized lens and filter for the DJI Pocket for as low as $50 i was able to obtain lens and filter kit from Freewell and found a fairly cheap macro lens for the camera as well. Our travel video to Las Vegas was all shot on the DJI Pocket 2 and the sample video below as well. We will be shooting more with this camera in the future and posting more footage as we test it out more.

Rating: A must have for the traveling vlogger. Recommend getting the creators bundle to have everything you will need in one go.
